The Clarets have secured their place in the play-off for the first time since 2014 with a thrilling victory over Clermont at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.

After a frustrating start to the match, where both teams struggled to create any real chances, it was the visitors who broke the deadlock early in the second half when Maxime Bourgade headed home from close range.

However, the Clarets responded well and levelled the scores just moments later when Charlie Raggett converted a penalty after being fouled by Mathieu Gouffran.

From that point onwards, the game became one of counter-attacking football as both sides pushed forward in search of a winner.
